Well what a fantastic trip we had! Great weather, great sights and great company! Where to begin….
It all started at Camp Paradise-that’s the name we affectionately gave to the paddock where we tossed our swags.
Mind you I wished I had photos of our faces when Hal directed us to our sleeping quarters. He waved his arm towards the paddock, suggesting we camp on the right side of a bush so as to gain some protection from the early morning winds. Paddle to Tranby House Friday 26 September
Paddle from Bayswater to Maylands to visit the historic Tranby House. We return via Ascot waters to see the development there. Two person Canadian canoes are provided - no experience needed.

For those who have never paddled or for those who want to learn more strokes. We’ll cover the basics of kayaking and have a paddle down the river.

The Canning Descent Tuesday 12 August
Join our annual adventure paddle on the upper reaches of the Canning River. You’ll paddle moving water through paperbarks, negotiating logs at times. This paddle is only possible after good rain and is suited to paddlers with some experience of steering Canadian canoes. Paddle from Gosnells to Mason’s Landing, about 10km.
