Inspiration Outdoors is a Perth based business established in 1998 and owned and operated by Pam Riordan. Focussing principally on bushwalking and canoeing, Inspiration Outdoors makes challenging extended walks in the south west achievable. Day walks around Perth in winter and spring are also available. A variety of canoe trips are offered on the Swan, Canning and Murray Rivers. Breakfast paddles, moonlight paddles and historical canoe trips in 2 person Canadian canoes are run throughout the year. We are the only company offering astronavigation courses,conducted in the desert near the Pinnacles. Trips can be created and tailored to groups of 10 or more. With the assistance of a team of knowledgeable friends, Inspiration Outdoors aims to provide...  “Recreation Beyond Expectation”

The friendly and supportive atmosphere that is created on each trip ensures that 98% of our walkers complete the walks. Many come back and walk with us again and many make friends they keep in touch with. A great way to clear the cobwebs. Superb scenery, lots of space and great company. Great food

Many clients are surprised at the high quality of the food that is provided on our trips. Di Johnson, our chef, creates wonderfully healthy, balanced and delicious meals that have clients dreaming of the evening meal as they walk. Her morning tea cakes are incomparable.

Easy & comfortable

You carry only a day pack and walk some of the great walks of the south west at the best time of year, returning to the same base with its comfortable accommodation each evening. Delicious meals are prepared for you, while you relax and enjoy the company of your fellow walkers.

Peace of mind

 Inspiration Outdoors is licensed by the Department of Conservation and Environment to operate on their lands. Pam and her leaders are experienced walkers, who have honed their skills over years of both personal walking and leading groups. Pam holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Outdoor Education and has been working in the outdoors since 1989. All leaders are qualified in first aid and all trips have emergency procedures in place. Transport is provide by Johnson’s Coaster Bus Service and our driver, Alf, has more than 40 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
