Stargazing & Night Trekking at the Pinnacles

Join us for a unique and challenging desert adventure by night at the Pinnacles. Experience the magic of the Pinnacles at sunset before you set off to navigate your way around the desert using the stars as your guide. You’ll never have another night like this one! A training night in Perth is included.This trip will teach you the art of astronavigation, so you need never be lost at night again! On a training night in Perth we will cover the movement of the stars, the basic constellations and determination of south using the night sky. We’ll also teach the use of the compass- just in case! This session includes both theory and outdoor practice. We conduct the weekend in Cervantes and in the desert near the Pinnacles. You’ll have the most amazing night searching for markers in the desert, using only the stars as your guide.

Pricing: AUD$180 per person

Includes: Training night in Perth, astro-navigation activity at the Pinnacles and accommodation. Participants need to supply their own food and transport.
