The challenge of the Cape to Cape is the distance, not the terrain. There are a few long beach sections, some rocks and a good amount of hills but most people do not find the terrain to be too difficult. As long as you don’t have any pre-existing injuries you will find that you get fitter as the week goes on rather than get more tired. For this reason we ease you in with easier days at the beginning and hold the more challenging days for later in the walk once your fitness has improved.
