Important Notes
- This is one of our easier walking tours and a great tour to get started on. This section hugs the Albany to Denmark coastline most of the way and is fairly easy, with distances between 13 and 19 km per day.
- Single Supplement: A single supplement is available, subject to availability at the time of booking. We won’t always be able to guarantee your own bathroom and king/queen beds with a single supplement due to the types of accommodation we use for group bookings. Often we stay at 2 or 3 bedroom chalets so that we can cook and have a common area for the group to relax and mingle at the end of your days walk. If having your own bathroom is important, give us a ring and we will see if it is possible.
- Start & End Times: The trip has two pickup locations.
- 7:00 am – Parry Street Carpark, Parry Street, Fremantle
- 7:45 am – Tourist Bus Stop at 37 Beaufort Street, near the corner of James Street in Perth
- At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off to the same location in Perth at approximately 4pm, and then on to Fremantle at 4:30pm. If you would like to fly out on the last day of the tour you should be able to make a flight after 7pm.
- First Day Info: After we pick you up, we will make our way down to Albany, stopping for morning tea and lunch along the way. We have a short 4.5 km walk on the Bibbulmun Track before heading to our accommodation. Please come dressed in your walking attire with your day pack and water bottle ready to go. Your luggage will be stowed in a trailer and waiting for you at the accommodation when you return from your first days walk.
- Meals: All meals are included, with the exception of lunch on the last day, when you can purchase a take away lunch, choosing from a wide variety of options in Denmark.
- In the event of unforeseeable circumstances that require a modification to the itinerary or accommodation, we will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative.
