Self Guided Cape to Cape Tour FAQs

How do I get transported around the region?

You have two options.

Option One: If you have your own car (or a hire car) we can move your car for you. All you need to do is drive the start of the days walk, and we will relocate it to the day’s end point so that when you are finished, it is waiting there for you. This is a good option as it means that if you want to explore the region, you will have greater independence.

Option Two: We will arrange someone to pick you up from your accommodation each morning and take you to the start of the day’s walk. We will then work out the best time to pick you up from the finishing point and return you to your accommodation.

What are my options with regards to catering?

The places we use offer breakfast, packed lunches and dinners. We can organise as much or as little catering as you like. We understand however that this can get expensive and this is why we try to put you up in self contained accommodation. This gives you the option for self catering if you so choose.

Can I choose to have a day off walking?

Of course! We can arrange your itinerary to include as many non walking days as you would like. If you find that you feel like a day off walking once your holiday starts, you just need to call your driver and let them know.

What people have said

My recent walk with Simon and Emily on the September Cape to Cape walk was much better than I expected. Each day holds new discoveries and the most stunning scenery, not to mention dolphins, birds, beautiful fresh air and wildflowers. This walk is very achievable to anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and I can highly recommend it.

Janine, Cape to Cape, 2012

I came home with a lot more enthusiasm for life in general and an attitude that I can tackle anything. It was a fantastic experience that I can’t wait to repeat.
